A formal challenge to a payment, with evidence and a recorded decision.
Either side can open a dispute on a payment, order or escrow. Both parties add evidence, and progress is visible to both.
The outcome is recorded with the reason, so the decision can be reviewed later.
Also called: chargeback, raise a complaint, get my money back.
