Savings circle

A group that saves together and pays out to each member in turn.

A savings circle lets a trusted group contribute a set amount on a schedule, with each member receiving the pot in turn.

Contributions, turns and payouts are recorded, so nobody has to keep a notebook and everyone sees the same figures.

Also called: susu, esusu, ajo, rotating savings, chama.
